IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TESTING FOR THE 2021 SCHOLARSHIPS

Due to the impact and restricitons of COVID19, the 2021 scholarship testing that was set for the August will now be pushed back.

 

Academic, Sports and Arts Scholarships

The applicants for these 3 categories will now sit their tests on Saturday 5th September. In addition, Scholarship testing will be conducted online; and at home (not on campus.)

Our testing partners, Edutest, will be be sending correspondence to applicants closer to the date.

Please read the following documents which has further information:

                   -regarding the structure of the tests
                   -information from Edutest about what is expected to sit the tests online
                   -a Declaration of Authenticity document which the child and a parent need
                     to sign and return electronically by 5pm Saturday 5th September (testing
                     day.)

This information will also be sent to parents via Edutest.

 

Quran Scholarships

Testing will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of September. Testing will be online via Zoom. Further information regarding the test will be sent to the parents of applicants.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2021 APPLICATIONS CLOSED

There are 16 Full and 19 Half Scholarships available, a total of 30, across the Melbourne Senior Campus, King Khalid Coburg Campus and Caroline Springs Campus.

Scholarships are open for both local and overseas students.
 
Testing will occur for both Academic and Qur'aan in early Semester Two.

There are six categories available:

  1. Academic Excellence - Grade 6 Students   (Click here to register for the Academic Scholarship test)
  2. Academic Excellence - Secondary Yr 7 - Yr 11 (Click here to register for the Academic Scholarship test)
  3. Qur'aan Kareem (see below) (Click here to register for the Qur'aan Kareem Scholarship test)
  4. Sports (Click here to register for the Sports Scholarship)
  5. Arts (Click here to register for the Arts Scholarship)
  6. Special Needs (students do not apply for Special Needs)

 

Qur'aan Kareem Categories - Memorisation and Tajweed - Primary and Secondary

  1. Primary - (Prep - Yr 2) Memorisation of One Part
  2. Primary - (Prep - Yr 5) Memorisation of Two Parts
  3. Primary and Secondary (Yrs. 6,7, 8) Memorisation of Three Parts
  4. Secondary (Yrs 9-11) Memorisation of Four Parts
  5. Secondary (All Levels) Memorisation of Six Parts
  6. Primary and Secondary (All Levels) Memorisation of Ten Parts

TESTING DATES

Academic Scholarship Exam - Saturday 5th September.

Quran Scholarship Tests- Wednesday 2nd September-Friday 4th September.
